afcturn_ I've avoided quite a bit of death metal around the late 90s. Few exceptionsin that era, and this is one of them. Ceremonium offered an album that stood the test of time. Love the bm notes, drums are excellent, vocals exceptional. It's clear this record influenced many bands over time.

satangutsandchristcorpsepaint This incarnation of Ceremonium isn't meant to be compared to Into The Autumn Shade, for it is it's own otherworldly beast & both are rare gems in the treasure room of history. This album adds additional texture by extending it's talons into the currents of blackmetal, yet remains firmly rooted in deathmetal. I feel for all who didn't have the good fortune to see them live, particularly that first show played with their recalibrated line-up, for it was one of the best NYC shows during that era. Favorite track: Delusions of Grandeur.

Cromlech 04:17

about

New York's dark cult Ceremonium return to the abyss with their second album. Five years after the critically acclaimed "Into the Autumn Shade". A harmony between atmospheric death and black metal; capturing haunting melodies reminiscent of their history in doom. They're back again to unleash another tribute to darkness including a cover of the classic Darkthrone song "Cromlech". 33 minutes comprises this complete lesson in unholy death!
